My name is Brian and am one of the trustees at the church. My wife Kara and I have spent the majority of our 25 years of marriage in southeastern South Dakota but have just recently moved to Luverne, MN. Even though it is 30 more miles from Canton we continue to be involved with the River. We have one son, Brett, who is a junior at the Univerwsity of Sioux Falls. I work for a bank in Luverne and Kara has been in sales for the same company for the past 20 years. We all stay very active with anything that gets us out of the house.

Neil and Jenny have been married for 15 years and have lived in the Sioux Empire since 1997. They are the very busy parents of a girl and three boys, who seem to constantly play soccer, baseball, basketball or football. Jenny spends much of her time homeschooling the young Downey scholars. On staff with Campus Crusade for Christ since 2001, Neil is Associate Editor for CruPress (CCC's publishing division). At The River, he helps coordinate small groups & worship ministry, assists in vision & strategy formulation, and gets Ron coffee.

I just got to the River as the new intern and I am really excited to partner in ministry with everyone!  My wife and I have two wonderful children, Isaiah and Elliana.  We just moved to Sioux Falls this past fall as I began school at Sioux Falls Seminary and Robin began teaching middle school music.  Coming from Spearfish we enjoyed being out in the mountains exploring and picking up rocks with our children (Isaiah’s favorite pastime).  Now, besides being outdoors playing, we enjoy watching Veggie Tales, playing drums, and singing to Remedy Drive.

"I'm Dave Stuart and my wife is Teresa.  I am a deacon at The River and you'll regularly see me behind the sound board in the back of the church and Teresa serving coffee in the Breaks Room.  Both of us are local to this area and grew up on the farm.  Teresa is from the metropolis of Trent and I call Alcester home.  We now reside in Beresford where my law practice is located and my wife works two buildings down from me at a local bank.  We both thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and try to get away a couple times a year for Jeep trips."

We currently live in Canton and have lived in the area our entire lives.  We spend most of our time at children?s activities, Jon coaches baseball, football and basketball for Kevin?s teams.  Brenna is involved in gymnastics and piano and Tyler enjoys the life of a pre-school child.  We love spending time together at the golf course and at the lake.  Jon is a Financial Advisor and Jill runs a daycare out of our home.

I'm Justin Van Bochove, one of the trustees at the River. My wife, Jaimi, and I have two boys, Jory and Jett. I am a machinist and partner at ExCel Machine and Manufacturing in rural Inwood. Jaimi works from home as a part time transcriptionist and full time mom. Jory and Jett participate in youth wrestling and love riding their pony. In my spare time I enjoy hunting and team roping.

I'm Rob Olson, one of the deacons at the River. My wife, Laura and I have two daughters, Gabi and Elena. I work as a senior software engineer at Jack Henry & Associates in Sioux Falls. Laura works part time at home for the South Dakota Library Association and full time as the queen mother.  We live on an acreage outside Worthing, and when I'm not working as an inmate on the warden's 'honeydo' list, I enjoy tennis, golfing and hunting.

My Wife Lynnette and I live in rural Harrisburg with our 3 Children. Rachael is in kindergarden, Raina is 3 and loves Preschool, and Andrew is a tenacious 2 year old. I am a Sales Representative with Bayer Cropscience, but for fun can be found farming in the Alcester area. For the past 9 years or so Lynnette has been a Realtor in Sioux Falls. She loves the flexibility as her greatest joy is her Children. If we are not outside playing or working in the yard.... Our family can be found in Brookings cheering on their team SDSU.......Go Jacks!!!!
