11/26/23 Hope

This Sunday we begin the Advent season looking back to how people were looking forward to the birth of Jesus. Where did they put their hope? Their hope was found in the promises of our God who fulfills them in his timing.

Come join us over the next 4 Sundays where we will look into God's Word about the promises of hope, joy, peace, and love.

11/12/23 The Voice

In the TV series "The Voice" there are 4 panelists who have their backs turned to a vocalist and they have a certain amount of time to recognize a talent in the individual singing. Once they push the button and turn around they are interested in having this voice on their team. Sometimes they are surprised because the voice does not match what they expect to see.

In a relationship with God is there only the voice of God? Does God only exist this way, or is there more? In Scripture God is revealed through a voice, but God is also revealed to each of us in another way.

11/5/23 Trust

Trust is a word used a lot in history and today. Trust takes years to build, a second to lose, and years to repair. Trust in something, or someone, can be difficult to find.

Throughout Scripture there are accounts of individuals who trusted in God because those around them could not be trusted. Does this sound familiar today? Is it hard to trust the voices around us sometimes?
